Meet Our Attorneys
James Gust
James F. Gust graduated from Western Michigan University in 1969 and Wayne State University Law School in 1974. A member of the Michigan Bar Association, he has been practicing law in Saginaw County and the surrounding areas for over 50 years. As an expert in Criminal Law, James is highly respected by both the judiciary and his fellow attorneys. He takes pride in the establishment of Gust Law Office, where he works alongside his daughter, Attorney Heather Gust, and his daughter Heidi Fisher, who serves as office manager. Originally from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, James enjoys spending his free time with family there.
Heather A. Gust
Heather A. Gust graduated from Michigan State University in 1991 and Thomas Cooley Law School in 1995, where she received multiple awards and an academic scholarship. Before becoming an attorney in 1996, Heather worked alongside her father, James Gust, in the family law office for several years. A member of the Michigan Bar Association, she specializes in Family Law and, like her father, is highly respected by both the judiciary and fellow attorneys. In her free time, Heather enjoys traveling with her artist husband and spending time with family in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
